Happy weekend, everyone. It's a Rumors and Rants road trip this week, so we'll have to see if people in the south are okay with dorks with computers in their sports bars or not. Should be interesting.
Congress created the BCS!
Okay, not really. But take a look at these rankings:

Afternoon, all. Okay, okay, so it's not the crack of noon, it's more like one, but at least I'm up. Can't believe I have to wait seven hours before IU plays tonight.
All the early games are still close, and Georgia Tech just fumbled, so things aren't looking good so far. ...

Yeah, we're not afraid to admit it. In case you haven't noticed, Anthony Kim is our new favorite young golfer. He has a confident, aggressive game, has won two tournaments and is playing in his first Ryder Cup at the age of 23.
Impressive stuff. We love watching him play.
So, today ...

At least two of the five of us on this site are golf obsessives, so it's a big week for us as it's time for the 2008 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale in England. Yet, with Tiger at home recovering, many are wondering whether there'll be anything interesting to watch ...

We've previously opined on the travesty that will happen in September at the 2008 Ryder Cup Matches in Kentucky. To wit: Kenny Perry is doing his best to play on the American squad by avoiding the U.S. and British Opens - the biggest stages in golf - and playing in ...
