On the Season Finale of ‘Dallas’

On the season finale of “Dallas”:

Last week, the Cowboys were embarrassed at home on national TV as Baltimore ran roughshod over America’s Team. Our Cowboys could still salvage the year with a win against Philadelphia. Beat the Eagles in Philly and ‘dem Cowboys would be in the playoffs and keep those Super Bowl-or-Bust hopes alive.

Unfortunately for the Cowboys, Philadelphia found themselves in the fortuitous position of being able to win and get in as well - after Chicago and Tampa Bay choked. The game is a nightmare. Four fumbles, two Philly defensive touchdowns and just six points from our high octane offense and the Boys are embarrassed again. Wade looks dumbfounded. Tony looks awful. And even Troy Aikman can’t bear to watch. 44-6!

Jerry comes out and says he’s terribly disappointed but there will be no coaching change.

Tony falls in the shower.

Deon and Flozell show more fight on the plane ride home than they did against the Eagles.

Wade promises changes.

The local and national media pile on.

Bradie James gets in a fight with a fan outside the Cowboys facility.

Golden Boy Jason Garrett is so desperate to leave Big D he’s talking to the Detroit Lions.
What will happen next season?
Will Wade be back? Will Tony? And that T.O. character has something to say I’m sure. Will Adam get arrested again or prove he can catch six punted balls at once, but fumble when it matters? Will Jessica dump Tony when she finds out he’s been spending time with another Tight End? Will Jerry get another face lift? Will the new stadium be finished in time? And more importantly, will the Cowboys win a playoff game for the first time since Space Jam came out?

  2. I think Jerry Jones will wake up and find out this whole season was actually a dream. And then hire Patrick Duffy as head coach.

  4. I hear the Cowboys will be wearing Pink next year. And Tony Romeo will even wear a dress in the hopes that the defense won’t pound him so hard. Hmmm? You know, that my not be such a good idea. I mean, if he’s wearing a dress they Pound him Harder. And from the back. But one can only hope. :)
