Chargers Guard Kris Dielman Suffers Seizure On Plane

A person with knowledge of the situation has told the AP that San Diego Chargers left guard Kris Dielman suffered a seizure on the team’s flight home Sunday after playing the New York Jets.
Dielman sustained a concussion during the loss to the Jets, but had to remain in the game because the team was out of offensive linemen thanks to other injuries during the contest.
The source spoke to the AP on the condition of anonymity because the team does not release specific injury details, and said an ambulance met the team plane on the runway in San Diego and Dielman spent the night in an area hospital.
The 320-pound Dielman suffered the concussion during the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 27-21 loss to the Jets but remained in the game and appeared to be fine after the game.
Dielman is a four-time Pro Bowler and is one of the best guards in all of football. He missed a game last season because of a concussion and head coach Norv Turner has said he’ll need to pass all the necessary tests to even step on the practice field.
Tyronne Green is likely to start in his place, and you can probably expect Dielman to miss a few weeks as he recovers from this scary incident.

Perfect example why weights need to be dropped down to 235 per player. These pituitary cases like Lewis isn’t sport any more its health hazardous to the game. Retire these Frankensteins and bring back the days of the Lombardi Packers where players played with style and grace and the game was fun to watch not some greasy video game.
