This Might Be the Most Ridiculous Shootout Goal Ever

This is perhaps the best shootout goal I’ve ever seen.

It’s so nasty I’d like to see Alex Ovechkin try it out the next time the Capitals are in a shootout. Seriously. I’m not even sure he could duplicate it.

But that man actually doing it is a Swedish fella by the name of Linus Omark. He broke this off in a friendly against Switzerland the other night.

For those wondering, the Edmonton Oilers chose Omark, a 22-year old left wing, in the fourth round of the 2007 NHL draft. He currently plays for Lulea HF in the Swedish Elite League.

It won’t be long before he’s suiting up in the NHL from the looks of it.
