Put Some Pants On, Pops
March 30, 2009 - 11:27 am by McDSo this commercial for Guitar Hero: Metallica (a game you can bet your ass I will be buying) debuted last night. I, for one, thought things were going horribly, horribly wrong at the beginning. That’s basically the stock reaction most sports fans should have when Coach K comes sliding into the picture with no pants on. Not that sacrificing a little dignity in favor of a little recruiting help has ever stopped Coach K, Pitino, or Roy Williams before. If that were Heidi Klum again, there’s no way Metallica tells her to put pants on, by the way.
In any case, Guitar Hero: Metallica looks fucking sweet and they’ve got themselves quite the commercial featuring some elderly gentlemen in pink shirts. Now let’s never speak of it again.

Maybe Coach K should spend a little less time focusing on Guitar Hero and a little more time focusing on fixing his team’s inability to advance to the Final Four.

Funny that of all the guys in that commercial Metallica has been irrelevant the longest.
