Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Ian Kennedy has dropped his appeal of the 10-game suspension he was given for his role in last Tuesday's brawl with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Kennedy is now eligible to return on June 29.

Melky Cabrera was in the middle of an MVP-type season for the San Francisco Giants in 2012, when it was revealed that he tested positive for a performance-enhancing substance. He was suspended 50 games by Major League Baseball on August 15.
