Celebrating the worst of the year in sports

Last night ESPN put out its annual “We need some filler on the one day of the year there are no sporting events” program, the ESPYs. We understand that some of you even may have watched.

The ESPYs are billed as the Oscars of the sports world… which got us thinking. You see, every year on the same night of the Academy Awards, the Golden Raspberries are also awarded. The Razzies are given out to recognize the worst films and performances of the previous year while Hollywood pats itself on the back for the rare echelon of movies that didn’t suck.

And in honor of the Razzies, we’ve decided to come up with our own counterpoint to the ESPYs: The Rumors and Rants CRAPPYs, honoring the worst of the worst between June 2013-2014.

Without further ado, here are this year’s winners…
