It’s official, we love Ashley Wagner. The 22-year-old American figure skater is the queen of fantastic reaction faces and she did it again on Wednesday.
After receiving a low score for a near-flawless short program in the team competition at the 2014 Winter Olympics, Wagner gave us a priceless reaction. After her short program for the singles competition on Wednesday she once again gave us a perfect face to match her feelings.
Check out the GIF after the jump.
That reaction basically says, what else can I do but just laugh and act happy? Frankly, it’s the right attitude, since no one really knows what the figure skating judges are doing at the Sochi Games.
Wagner was given a score of 65.21, putting her in sixth place, well behind leader Kim Yu-na of South Korea, who leads with a score of 74.92. Fellow American Gracie Gold is in fourth (68.63), while young American Polina Edmunds sits in seventh (61.04).
But of everyone who skated on Wednesday, Wagner gave us the biggest highlight. As if we didn’t already love her for skating to Pink Floyd, claiming she wants to be “edgy” and “sexy” and her previous reaction face, Wednesday sealed the deal.
She’ll be in the final group for her free skate on Thursday and we recommend you watch, since you never know what she’s going to do or how she’s going to react.
In case you can’t get enough of her, here’s her instant reaction to Wednesday’s score:
