Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Homer Bailey notched his second career no-hitter Tuesday night with a 3-0 win over the San Francisco Giants. His other no-no came just 10 months ago on September 28, 2012 and was the last no-hitter in baseball until Tuesday.
The 27-year-old hurler was spectacular Tuesday night as he gave up just one walk and struck out nine in his nine innings. He lowered his ERA to 3.57 and his WHIP to 1.06 and now ranks sixth in the National League in strikeouts with 111.
