Even the best players in the world have embarrassing moments. Kevin Durant had one on Tuesday night.
In the second quarter of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 117-111 win over the Brooklyn Nets, Durant made a really nice drive and got into the middle of the lane. Then he elevated for what would have been an incredible, thunderous throw-down. Instead, he bricked it.
Luckily he got bailed out by a terrible blocking call on Andray Blatche, but still, that was a crazy sequence and could have been an all-time great dunk. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen. Still makes for an epic highlight though.
