Drew Doughty Scores Incredible Goal For Los Angeles Kings
June 2, 2012 – 11:00 pm by Ryan PhillipsLos Angeles Kings defenseman Drew Doughty is one of the best at his position in the NHL. The 22-year-old Canadian was up to his old tricks Saturday night as he was probably the best player on the ice for either team in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals.
Doughty also scored a scintillating goal on a coast-to-coast rush that put the Kings up 1-0 over the New Jersey Devils in the first period.

That was just an incredible series of moves, followed up by a perfectly-placed, laser of a shot that got past Martin Brodeur.
The Kings, once again, won a tight contest in overtime 2-1, and Doughty’s play had a lot to do with that. Los Angeles now leads the series 2-0, and improved to 10-0 on the road in the playoffs.
After Saturday night the Kings are now just two wins from bringing home the first Stanley Cup in franchise history.
