Tonight we will once again be live blogging the NCAA tournament using Cover It Live. The action tips off at 7:15 p.m. as the West’s No. 2 seed, San Diego State and No. 3 UConn face off in Anaheim.
That will be shortly followed by action from the Southeast region, as No. 2 seed Florida takes on No. 3 seed BYU and National Player of the Year favorite Jimmer Fredette. The Gators and Cougars tip off at 7:27 eastern in New Orleans.
Then in late-night action No. 1 seed Duke matches up with No. 5 seed Arizona, that tip is scheduled for 9:45-ish. In the Duke game, freshman sensation Kyrie Irving is expected to play significant minutes. Then No. 8 seed Butler will face No. 4 seed Wisconsin, that tip is slated for 9:57.
The Butler-Wisconsin tilt could be one of the best games of the tournament. I couldn’t be more excited to see those two teams go head-to-head. Can the Bulldogs make another improbable run, or will the Badgers move to within one game of the Final Four?
We’re also psyched about the San Diego State-UConn matchup, since we really don’t know what to expect. SDSU has not exactly impressed thus far in the tournament, but that could mean they’re due for a good showing.
