Like I said, it’s a ridiculously steep asking price and is probably just being used as a starting point for negotiation. If a deal happens it won’t be on those exact terms. But apparently it’s something the Saints are interested in checking out.

Two first-round picks is a ridiculous idea but taking Reggie Bush-a somewhat proven, always dangerous RB-instead of C.J. Spiller makes sense.

I think Carroll knows how to bets utilize Bush’s skills whereas, a Bell, Sharper and Fujita are finding-out, Coach Payton only views Brees as irreplaceable.

I think Bush deserves to be the premier back somewhere like Seattle, where the entire offense can be-built around him-similar to Faulk in St. Louis.

However, that will never happen in New Orleans. Bush is a slot-back, punt returner and third-down back; as shown in 2008-when he suffers an injury, as he has shown a propensity-for doing, you lose all that and $8M. Draft a speedster and sign a FA power back to replace him and the team still makes-out better.

Trade Bush for Seattle’s #14 pick and it’s a winning situation for everyone.

No way any coach gives up 2 first round picks, maby the 14th pick for bush, or the 6th pick and a second round pick for bush and the 32nd pick in the first round but not 2 first. Besides the saints cant afford 3 first round picks for that matter 2 first rounders.

Reggie who? oh that guy…the guy who is finally coming into his own? The guy who is starting to run north and south and stopped juking before he gets a hand off? The same guy who is starting to run through defensive players. I know this is my opinion but I really think the man has finally learned how to run the football. I guess at 8 million any one can be taught anything lol….

The Saints missed the golden opportunity to trade Busch in the draft!
They could have gotten more on the promise of Bush than the reality of Bush.

the saints should keep the superbowl champs together as much as possible. reggie hase’nt reached his full nfl power yet. its about to kick in. he needs a better line to open up holes and hes gone. can you say repeat. who dat.

This rumor has some issues. Mainly this–why would the Seahawks give up 2 first round draft picks for Reggie Bush, when they could give up a 2nd Round pick, and make a push for Pierre Thomas?

Over the past 2 years, Pierre has been better than Reggie Bush, and he could be gotten for much, much less.

The Seahawks could make a big offer to Pierre, keep their first two round picks, and put the Saints in a very difficult position of having to match the offer.
