You forgot Michael Floyd, freshman WR at Notre Dame, who had better stats than Julio Jones and AJ Green, even while missing 3 games last year. Plodding SEC offenses only impress banjo playing yokels who make their own moonshine, but NFL teams look at production in pro style offenses.

CS,
Yeah we've never claimed Best isn't a really good running back. We've just been annoyed by the Reggie Bush comparisons. Bush was easily college football's most dynamic/exciting running back since Barry Sanders. Best is a very talented, very fast back who has put up some nice numbers. But that's it so far.

Cecilio, Best's performance and your experience of it was probably very similar to the day Larry Johnson ran roughshod at Indiana over my Hoosiers. I left the stadium with three of my buddies all we all passed out in my apartment to wake up to more LJ running.

while he might not be the most exciting of these 10, i'm most interested in seeing what snead's all about. curious to see if he can steal some spotlight from you-know-who down in SEC. Saw Best in person last fall when Cal was home against Washington. Granted it was Ty's 2008 Huskies squad (read: not formidable), but Best's record-breaking performance you mention above was RIDICULOUS. So what if I watched most of second-half from bar...I could still see.
