At Least He Didn’t Spike Himself
July 26, 2009 – 7:05 am by McDI know you all were watching Galaxy/Wizards last night, big-ass MLS fans that you are. But just in case you weren’t watching ESPN’s MLS game of the week, here’s what you (and I, because I left five minutes before it happened) missed:
The Spanish announcing makes it even better. Hopefully Galaxy keeper Donovan Ricketts is able to appreciate that goal after not only giving it up (the game finished in a 1-1 draw) but also injuring himself in the process. He even had to be pulled from the game. I’m sure he’s fine. His confidence? Probably not so much.

sick goal. but i feel for ricketts, that did not look pleasant.

He might be out for awhile. Ricketts gives you weak bones.
