Guys, seriously, this post was tongue-in-cheek. I’m not an idiot. Obviously Crean posted that without really thinking how it sounded. I love the guy, he’s great for IU, just thought it came across a little awkwardly.

I think, given that it was preceded by the “[he] was in our wedding” line, he was just making a joke that USC will feel his (Crean’s) pain. As in, “you’re spending the day with my wife? Now you’ll feel my pain.”

I think you missed Crean’s point, although he wasn’t very clear on that in any event. You need to read a list of his twitter submissions to put this into context. He basically uses them as a stream of conscientious. This is EASILY the most controversial thing he’s ever sent. Having read a bunch of them, I think he was merely letting his buddy know that he could feel his (upcoming) pain. You’re reaching here, and petty criticism like this will probably lead to Crean censoring himself in the future, instead of offering a some GREAT insight-
