To Watch Tonight…If We’re Not Wiped Off the Planet

NCAA Baseball Super Regional, TCU vs. Texas (ESPNU/ESPN2, 7 p.m.): These in-state rivals have split the first two games of this best-of-three super regional. That means the stakes tonight are pretty simple: Winner punches a ticket to Omaha for the College World Series. Might as well get primed for that event by watching this game, eh?
MLB, Tampa Bay at New York (ESPN, 7 p.m.): OK, if you prefer the pleasant thud of wood bats to the ping of aluminum, I guess you can watch this. It’s a battle of Andys on the mound tonight. The Rays are running out Andy Sonnanstine (4-5, 7.07 ERA) and the Yanks have Andy Pettitte (5-2, 4.33) going. Not exactly exciting, but that’s what you get with June baseball.
WWE Monday Night Raw (USA, 9 p.m.): Just kidding. But seriously, if you’re bored with everything else wrestling is always good for a laugh and a few good looking chicks, which is nice.
Life After People (History Channel, 11 p.m.): Ever wonder what the world would look like after humans are wiped off the face of the Earth? Me either. Good thing we have the History Channel to answer questions like this. Where would we be without it?
Editor’s note: Couldn’t find a good late night movie on the cable basics. If you have one drop it in the comments. Or perhaps Netflix something. I just prefer to watch the cheesy ones on after midnight.
