WOW you guys r stupid ya i bet it was a fun ride home but guess what im Jared Strayer’s brother so you guys dont know anything about the game he did good but had no backup. So obvisously it wasnt his fault if u knew anything u would know that defense gets u out of innings and without it its a long game.

interestingly, i read both coaches tried to implement the mercy rule and call the game after the 7th inning but the ncaa wouldn’t allow them to.

As an Orioles fan and FSU fan, I can confirm that it is definitely more fun to be on the positive side of a game in which one team scores 30 runs.

And as scarletandgray2009 says, this score isn’t NEARLY as bad as it could have been. By the 6th inning, FSU was playing 2 starting pitchers in the field, and DHing a 3rd starting pitcher. They pulled 8 of their 9 starters. Nobody was left on the bench. But it didn’t seem to matter.

Buckeyes just didn’t have the depth in starting pitching…basically throwing untested froshies and back of the rotation guys all day. At least FSU hit the brakes, that game could have gone to about 50.
