The only time I was at Yankee stadium, I sat behind home plate, and behind a skinhead with a back and arms full of swastika tattoos. So maybe empty seats are better than full ones. I was able to find 4 of the $2,625 ones in the FIRST ROW one section to the right of home plate. Each of the tickets carries a whopping $60 convenience charge! That's a total of $10,740 to see the Yankees give up a bunch of home runs to right field. Try finding even 1 ticket in the 1st row to ANY game at Wrigley Field this year (let alone against their biggest rival) and you won't be able to.
