When my son came home with a nasty cold a week and a half ago, I knew what would happen. Everyone else would get it, and then I’d get it the weekend of March 6th. And now I’m sitting here, wiping my nose and shoving two or three cough drops in my mouth at once, trying to convince my body that it’ll be well enough to go see the movie. My body is not cooperating.
