The obvious two that Kornheiser must have been thinking of were Sid Luckman and Jim McMahon. But Billy Wade also led the Bears to an NFL title, and Johnny Lujack wasn’t bad either — better than Rex King of Zilcho, at least.

I too wonder how the A’s will afford Holliday, but I must say, I won’t miss his stupid, non-plate-touching face in the NL West next season.

While Kornheiser’s ill-conceived reverence of Leinart has yet to come to fruition, which two other qb’s other than McMahon would be considered better Bears signal-callers? I’m not a Bears fan, so I’m not up to snuff on my Windy City gridiron trivia, so I’m just curious. Cade McNown?

In the Dennis Green game, Kornheiser also called Rex Grossman the 3rd greatest QB in Bears franchise history….. and yet he continues on.
