Wood has been plagued with ARM injuries, whereas Sheets has had some very fluke injuries in his ear (inner ear infection 2 seasons in a row). So it's not Bens arm that is/was shot like Kerrys is/was. Also Jayess you state at the end whether he'll have surgery again... Well, I'm pretty sure he would have to have had arm surgery in the past to do it again... You also bring up the wins in a season mark with Sheets, and if you go back look at Sheets career and the run support that he's had in his starts compared to what Wood has had. He certainly has the stuff to do so and the Brewers do have a need in the bullpen, but a lot depends on whether he has surgery again and also that market for pitching over the winter. I believe he's a free agent. It'll be interesting to see how that goes and if teams ask to sign him as a reliever.
