Now, onto the real news. Packers backup running back Noah Herron, who went to the football powerhouse that is Northwestern, used a bedpost to defend his home from burglary. He struck the burglar with the bedpost he unscrewed from his bed after the would-be thief entered his room.
To quote Brown County Sheriff Dennis Kocken:
“Noah Herron used necessary, reasonable and justifiable force in protecting his life and property. Herron, the victim in this random home invasion, is cooperating with law enforcement.”
Awesome. I mean, it’s way more creative then getting out your piece or maybe a knife or something. And much less dangerous, too. Clearly that Northwestern education paid off. He can think fast.
The best part is the burglar guy had to go to the hospital. That’s what you get, thief! Our hero Noah Herron emerged from the scuffle unscathed.
