France have a potentially terrific team, just the most idiotic coach at the tournament.

Philip Mexes should have started every match (and wouldn’t have conceded that penalty by Abidal), but wasn’t even in the squad. Frey is easily France’s best keeper, and Trezeguet would have been their best option up front. They also have Ben Arfa, Ribery, Nasri, Diarra, etc…

They’re in good shape, they just have an idiotic coach. If Domenech was in charge of Holland, RVP, Sneijder, etc. would have been left out in favor of Kluivert, Davids and Cocu.
