After tossing seven shutout innings last night in a 3-0 win over the Yankees in the Bronx on Wednesday night, Indians pitcher Cliff Lee lowered is ERA to a paltry 0.81 and improved to 6-0. He leads the league in ERA and is tied for second with the six wins.
Sure, it’s early. Can Lee keep up this pace? Certainly not. But you gotta feel good for a guy who was a steady performer for the Indians for a few years before going 5-8 last season with a 6.29 ERA. Things got so bad management eventually sent down to the minors.
I’d say he’s rebounding nicely.
