Detroit 94, Boston 75: Gotta be honest, I didn’t watch any of this game until Big Baby Davis and Tony Allen were in for mop-up duty. You know, there was a lot of cooking out, beer drinking and sun burning to be done on Memorial Day.
And to be honest again, I’m kinda glad I didn’t. I’m no big fan of blowouts when the losing team only scores 75 points. What is this, a college game?
Either way, what Rip Hamilton said after the game is true enough. Now that the series is even at 2-2, it’s on Detroit to go back into Boston and win again. Considering the Celtics just got their first road playoff win in Game 3, you’d have to think there’s a pretty good chance the Pistons can go in, take another road game and put the pressure right back on Boston.
Then again, it’s not like the Celtics don’t know how to defend their home floor. So, advantage Celtics?
